I have f/t a SYNRAD J48-2 CO2 Laser And UC-1000 Controller. This is NOT a cheap Chinese laser That you would be lucky to get a few hundred hours of operation from it. SYNRAD lasers are American made and will last for 40,000+ hours. This laser outputs 25 watts, just add water for cooling and 30 VDC @ 14 amps. I have reprints of the laser and controller manuals. For cooling, I purchased a small submersible pump (from Home Depot) used with a ceramic cutter, cost about $15. I will also provide protective glasses that are absolutely necessary with this laser. The laser was purchased from the original owner and was a backup that has low hours. I can provide pictures to interested parties.
I would be interested in a well laid out and built medium size DRSSTC. I'm also interested in all things ham radio and scanner related. Also interested in vintage street lights and the photoelectric cells that control them, circa 1940's thru the 1960's, especially tube powered photocells.
