I seem to recall some interesting drinks shared by members here, both on and off board.
Thought I might make a list.

Favorite adult beverage: Absinthe, prepared 1oz absinthe to 4oz water, with a sugar cube dripped via a balancier. I'm a little impatient to use a spoon.
Favorite non-alcoholic beverage: a mix of sweet and sour, sprite, and grenadine

Hard liquor : I don't really care, I'll just drown it with something sweet any way ... I'm a girly drinker.

Mid-alcoholic : some of the sweeter high alcoholic beers. Hoegaarden Grand Cru and Bush Beer for instance (some of the Trappist beers are fine as well, but I'm cheap and not of refined taste).

Low alcoholic : don't care, it's just part of getting hammered slowly ... taste is a temporary sensation, becomes part of the blur an hour in and entirely forgotten the next day.

Unhealthy non alcoholic : Coke

PS. I like home made milkshakes, I don't like the extra washing up.

Spirits: Mescal, or failing that, Black label Smirnoff. (I don't drink a lot of spirits these days)

Wine: Chilean, Australian, New Zealand or French (in that order) Cabernet-Merlot, or Champagne (French, of course) I drink wine most days, with a meal.

Beer: has to be Real Ale, generally the darker the better. (I only drink beer when I go to the pub, not very often these days)

Non-alcoholic: Coffee (preferably percolated) Can't function in the morning without it smile

I'm underage so of course no adult drinks.

I do love:

1 pt buttermilk
1 pt water
1tsp. of salt or to taste
1tbsp of lemon juice
3 pinches of asofadeita (hing)
1tsp ground ginger

Mix it all up. Add bit more of ingredients to taste. Very refreshing, but is a very effective laxative. :P
