Hi all.
In case anyone wants to build their own Geiger counter watch, I have for sale (when I get them) two 21mm mini tubes as well as the old 108mm tube from my Bull Electrical counter.
They work out at around $15 each for the 21mm tubes and make an offer for the 108.
I've also got some "step" LCD counter units which can be modded to take these tubes, asking $3 each for them.
Also have five Nixie tubes, again make an offer. I'd have used them but its next to impossible to find the driver chips.

hi, Having seen your offer for GM Tubes, i've noticed that they are of Russian origin. When you receive them, and you need translation of the possible enclosed brochure, just give me a mail, and i can take care of the translation.

Also, if anyone is interested I have figured out how to drive these using a modified version of a single chip EL driver.
I did wonder about using a switching detector- charge up capacitor to set voltage then stop, resume charging if it drops below 330V. This should be more efficient than keeping it running continuously.
