Max resonant MOT voltage

So i will make a resonant mot stack.

i will put a Power factor correction cap across the main input wires. then get a mot. short it's sec. then get 2 mots and connect the primaries in parallel put one end of the shorted mot in one of the inputs and connect the electric socket wire to the other end and the other wire of the electric socket goes directly into the other mot.
Now i connect the secondary coils of booth mots in series.
and connect 4 MOCS in parallel and then in series with the output. of one moc. What is the max voltage i can achieve with such a setup

The PFC cap will most likely not do much, because the resonance corrects the power factor by itself. The voltage you can get out is just a little higher than the MOT's output voltage, I measured 3kV with my multimeter on one MOT resonating, but that's with the output shorted of course (there is no resonance with output open). Sometimes the caps stay charged after an arc and you get higher peaks on the output for a while, but that's not a steady state.

Ya know resonant makes much MUCH longer arcs. So i thought that a dual resonant mot stack will be AWEZOME ON a SGTC that i have on plans later.

I think it could work, but not that much better, the resonance makes the arcs much longer because it turns the MOTs into a current source with a sharp "cutoff", non-linear V-A characteristic.

Yeah. but resonant makes the space that the spark ignite at longer. Which makes mots awesome for sgtcs Spark gap

For commercial/economic reasons an MOT operates normally with some core saturation,
so resonating the primary and/or secondary with a capacitor will not produce a much higher voltage.

But still the arcs get longer. That has a reason that belongs to voltage... The arcs increase from being tiny to almost a meter long.

No, it doesn't belong that much to voltage, the capacitors just alter the output V-A characteristic. In a TC, you anyway choose a relationship between the tank cap capacitance and transformer output inductance (and you possibly add a ballast in series with the primaries), to obtain good power factor and higher voltage on the tank cap. On such properly designed SGTC, the cap in series won't do much.
