Does this look legit? Its hard to tell, however he is using some pretty exotic fabrication techniques and not a "mix it together and pray" method.
It appears that the theory which postulates that "toxicity increases with Tc" is true, thallium is pretty nasty stuff.
So an interesting experiment might be to substitute antimony (Sb) in place of the lead to see what that does.
EDIT:- Can't get Sb2O3 or any other antimony compound easily, although ebay have it the seller is reluctant to ship overseas.
I really need to get a kiln cheaply, as HTSC compounds are interesting.
