I wonder if it has any lead in it at all...
Might be interesting to request the full report.

I wonder if there is a market for a pen sized dosimeter that logs X-ray and other ionising radiation using 3 channel (Geiger, fluoro and alpha) sensors and then synchronises with your wi-fi etc or Bluetooth phone..
Have it charged via wifi too just for fun.

You can't charge anything from wifi.
ISTR someone came out with a scam product a few years ago but it was clearly fake.

I think someone who is too stingy to buy a safe x-ray machine would also be too stingy to buy a Conundrum Labs dosimeter.

You would probably have better luck charging it from X-rays than from Wifi. smile

You sure about that? Its very very low power, a typical GM tube draws in the microamps which is less than the self discharge on a NiMH coin cell.

I've heard that the small ceramic antennas can be paired with active rectification ie low Vds MOSFET arranged as a bridge and extract substantial power.

Here's one from Mumbai for about the same money: US $451 or GBP £292, free shipping.

Says "CE approved" (does that imply CE marked?) and AERB approved.

That Indian vendor of cheap dental x-ray units has some other cool dental stuff! Anyone ever see or hear of one of these?
