Actually, I would LOVE to have a stormtrooper suit, and I have done my own lightsaber video, so maybe I'm not that far off... amazed

Thanks for the link. The only reason I haven't done that is that it looks like too much work for just a suit, and then I couldn't really show it to anyone I know... cheesey

If any of you are into mimicking props in movies then you will probably like this artwork.

Do a search for DUALITY STAR WARS. It is a great short film.
This link should take you to one site that has the film

That's so @#$^ed up. HEHEHEH. But you know, the chances are really good that it would happen that way. How very funny! Great variant of the saga.

When it comes to Star Wars fan films, I prefer the Pink Five series . . .

Can't wait until Return of Pink Five comes out !!!

Yeah, Duality is the best one I've seen yet. And if I remember correctly, he got a little help from the actual Star Wars crew! Lucky!

There's also a great one at the end of the Star Wars (Original Trilogy) bonus disk section on the birth of the lightsaber. It shows a kid getting one for Christmas, dancing around and frying a bunch of stuff.

If you want to make your own fan film, go here Link2 It worked really well on my film, although it sucks because I couldn't get anyone to fight with me. sad Actually, my cousin said he might, but he wasn't going to wear anything and he wasn't going to do any rehearsing. I had a pretty nice fight in my head. What a loser. cheesey I'll just have to animate a robot or something seeing as nobody else I know's a geek enough. I added some sound, and was able to sync it really well, but for the life of me I couldn't get it to sound right. It sounds like a sabre unless you've just previously heard a real one. I tried LS sound, but you already had to have the sabre sound, and that was my problem in the first place. I never could find a good clean long one on the DVDs. LSmaker is supposed to rotoscope it for you, I can't get it to run on any of my comps though.

Something I saw today... I've got a coworker, a guy with seriously way too much time on his hands, and he showed me a movie of this college group doing the entire Mario theme, Zelda, and Dr. Mario in acapella. They opened with "This medley is a little bit older than what we've done just previously, and it's all original work from Japan. We hope you enjoy." It was pretty funny if you owned an old NES. I'd get a link, but I won't see him again till monday.
