I'm currently working on my first tesla coil, I'm currently using a flyback transformer driven via a ZVS driver as my HV power source, I can draw some nice sparks from it. But I haven't achieved breakout, I'm concerned my MMC is too small but I can't seem to find much info for capacitor sizing when using a flyback. I found this video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9avm-e7R05M&feature=player_detailpage showing what purports to be a ZVS driven flyback tesla coil and it looks great, but at the end of the video the poster seems to indicate his tank cap is 33,000 uF which can't be right. ]my_tc_toroid.txt[/file]
