Poor kid, just shows how even something as innocent as a PC power supply can be deadly.
I've heard of people being burned by photoflash capacitors before, but the ones in a PC supply are designed for low ESR and can be up to 2200uF at >200V which is well into the range capable of causing death if one hand happens to be on the grounded case.

More likely a grounding issue due to improper house wiring... These have dropped a few people over the years with freak accidents and missing GFIs to skip local bylaws.
UL harmonized standards almost always requires a bleeder resister across HV capacitors, but anything is possible if the unit was malfunctioning.
Note standards consider anything over a meager 60v @50mA is potentially fatal under some conditions. However, there are other situations that can cause heart fibrillation, and respiratory problems.
Notably, some people are more susceptible to these complications than others.
It is also possible for a lightning strike to travel several miles, and the coroner should check for signature HV burn fractal patterns near the point of contact:

While... 'ouch' that does look like a really awsome scar to have i must say...
