hi I had the idea of a Tesla coil for triggered spark gap:-) this will increase the efficiency of the device and will eliminate the burning of electrodes You may be able to play sound in your country somebody makes same???? Here is a diagram, can anyone want to do that?

You'd need an inductor in series with the first set of gaps. Charging one capacitor directly from another one dissipates 50% of the energy as heat, so it would destroy the charging gaps pretty quick.
I'd replace the charging gaps with a SCR stack, or even a triode tube to allow modulation of the charging voltage.
