Yeah, I learnt that in 7th grade. Centrifugal force exists. No "outward-pushing" force exists.

We were told at school that the outward pushing force in a centrifuge was actually called centripetal force and that centrifugal force did not exist. Centripetal force is actually the force that prevents an object flying off at a tangent. Centrifugal force is actually the 'outward pushing' force that opposes centripetal force (every force has an equal and opposing force-Newton)
