Just finished the coil for a new coil build. The coil is 4"x 16". It has 4 coats of Delphs AC43 and one coat of Envirotex Lite. Never tried the envirotex before so I thought this small coil would be a good first run test. Once you get the feel of the epoxy it goes on pretty easy. Looks really good IMO for the first time using it.

Very pretty !
I too like a heavy build coating, mainly to prevent scratches to the windings when not in use/storage.
I've not used two types of coating, I wonder if there is any potential for problems due to differential thermal expansion ? Let us know if any cracks appear later.
Looks ideal for building up a nice surface static charge to zap you once powered down ;)

You know I am not sure about the thermal expansion between the two coatings. I am thinking the heavy build coating does have more elasticity to it than the AC43 does so it will be interesting to see the effects.
I also like the protection the heavy build epoxy gives to the coil if this works out ok ( using the the AC43 and envirotex) I may coat my larger coils with it as well. This small coil was more of an experiment because I had already coated it with AC43. I was more worried about excessive out gassing from the two different coatings hence the reason I chose to do the small coil first and see if there were any issues before doing to the larger coils.
But it looks like it handled it without any problems. I have several gallons of AC43 but it might be lower cost in the long run to use only the Envirotex without any AC43. That AC 43 gets expensive when you tack on all the shipping and Hazard materials charges, and Envirotex can be picked up at the local hardware.
