hello everyone
i think i might have a problem that i think every Tesla coiler can relate to.
every time i use my vttc, my WiFi modem crashes and the internet stops working the TV fuzzes up, whenever i use my sgtc the XBOX remote controllers turn on and off very quickly until i turn of my Tesla coil
im sure all of you guys have experienced these sorts of things but is there a way to prevent these things from happening? does this sort of thing damage these items?
i am mainly concerned about the modem, i dont mind the xbox messing up cause its only my little brother that plays it and its funny.

RF noise through the phone line
my RF noise has crashed the DSL repeaters and burned through the whole line up to the splitter box
since then, insulation and quality dropped regularly, approximately -1 dbm per month during one year (approximately 0.2Mbps bandwidth loss each month)
diagnostic with a qualified technician I managed to get (due to my employer coaching technicians from the telephone company) revealed the line was toasted and my modem too
in my case it led to a free replacement and line upgrade as I managed to turn it into being their fault (only by the fact that some clumsy people worked on the line on their behalf, which is true as they let the cables to the rain weeks along, and my houses fundations too)
it led to one and a half year of struggle and pain through technical support and reclaims, which was a pain in the ass
if you can, use your coils in another room ;)
and shield your phone lines with gas arresters and STP cable

The only suggestion I can offer is: Make sure your topload and breakout point are all securely connected together. If you have a crappy topload made out of aluminium foil and soda cans, small arcs can develop between different metal parts that aren't in contact. These short arcs generate huge amounts of VHF and UHF energy.
