Although, he does write that he would “love to have some kind of Nikola Tesla festival on the property on July 10th of 2013 (Nikola Tesla Day), and have some kind of zany Tesla-coil-BBQ-cookout.â€
anyone for the first teslathon ever held on wardenclyffe? all these modern variations of tesla's inventions would surely be the ultimate way to honor him.
Though I couldn't go (school bound, the downside of high school...) , I'd still think it would be a fabulous idea. What better place to hold it than the site of the creator's lab itself?

Heh. I wish I could finish off my drsstc... Not at the rate it's going though. I'll go as long as Im not too busy with school. Long island isn't very far from where I live.

Actually, short distance wireless power could well solve the electric vehicle power problem. The plan is to charge them at home with a "levitating platform" flat plate charger, while using the vehicle simply park over a charge plate and go off shopping for an hour. If manufacturers would agree on a standard and stick to it this could happen by 2016.
