Asking for you're opinion on them really, I was thinking of getting one for my mini tesla coil, but don't wanna dump $30 into something and have it be crap.
10W should be more than enough to run the logic side of the driver (Steve Ward's DRSSTC .5) and be able to supply the drivers with enough power, considering the mosfets only need .7 watts each according the this calculator - and it's only a half-bridge so 1.4 watts total, plus losses so maybe like 3 watts in total for everything?
EDIT: How do you think these supplies will behave around a tesla coil, being about 4-5 inches below a working tesla coil has its obvious "what if" questions...
I usually try to stay away from cheap items like that, plus it says it only only supplies 500mA, or 6W. I don't mind dishing out 30 dollars for something if its worth it...I've already put a few hundred into the coil O.o
Just checked the 20W supplies, found this It's a 15V 1.4A supply, it's smaller, more efficient, and cost a few dollars less than the other ones. I'm gonna go ahead and get this one :D
