It seems that there may be a system in place to control or curtail the release of any conclusive data which proves the existence of past or present life on Mars.
In recent times, President Obama was "informed" weeks before the public was made aware of the discovery of perchlorates on the surface. I believe that this does not in fact come under the umbrella of a conspiracy "theory" as we all know that information relating to matters of national security is routinely controlled under OPSEC and other relevant systems.
However, given that many ex-NASA employees have gone public with the little they do know would suggest that this question be put to President Obama directly by representatives of the public, under oath.
If there's life on Mars... then there's definitely life everywhere else. I wouldn't be surprised if intelligent life, or at least multicellular organisms would live under the surface of Europa.

Scientists repeated a key Viking experiment using perchlorate-enhanced soil from Chile's Atacama Desert, which is considered one of the driest and most Mars-like places on Earth, and found telltale fingerprints of combusted organics -- the same chemicals Viking scientists dismissed as contaminants from Earth.

This is ridiculous. None of your citations back up what you're trying to say at all. Nobody has any credible motive for keeping anything like that from the public. I see no benefit to letting this thread continue.
