Hello,

I'm working on a SSTC as a student project. However, I am not satisfied with the quality of my cores, as they always give not so great waveforms. Any of reasonable quality from eBay are in the $20 range, which is a bit too much for me. Can anyone recomend any quality cores for a good price?

Thanks!!

Hello,

I'm planning on using magnet wire, so exact spec aren't a concern, however, I was looking for something that could driver a full bridge and have and AL > 4000.

Thanks!

This are power not inductor cores, so I think they will be fine.
I used them as power transformers, they can carry far more power then you need for a bridge.
In fact, my full bridge with opto isolated drive, uses one core like this for the small isolated DC-DC that powers the optos and drive buffers.

PS
and, one more thing, in case you decide you want those cores, don't try to over bid some other guy, he is always selling this, he will list another lot after the auction ends.
