Hi all,

Thought you might like to read about an interesting project that's on the table: Link2

Additional information is here: Link2

In a nutshell, Matthew Inman, comic/writer/owner of the Oatmeal, is leading a donation drive on behalf of the good folks at Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, in hopes of purchasing the Wardenclyffe property. They've already secured a grant from the state that will match up to $850,000 in funds, so if they can raise $850,000 on their own, they'll have $1.7 million to purchase the property and start on the museum.

If successful, this would start the ball rolling on the first Nikola Tesla museum in the United States, and would preserve Tesla's old property, protecting it from commercial development. Hard to believe that Tesla has gone this long without much-needed recognition.

I know times are tough, but let's dig deep and make this happen!

I've sent an email to inman regarding some of the displays. I'd be able to make a (safe!) interactive x-ray exhibit...

...But who is going to redesign the tower?

Well, they've raised another $500,000+ since Thursday, less than $75,000 to go smile

Seems like a silly place to build it. Maybe if some of his stuff was preserved. Or the tower was still there.

Build it at Niagara falls.
