FFS. Mach 6 is insane.

I foresee "Mission Impossible 5: Black Ops" using a one person version of this for some covert mission or other.

Of course at Mach 6 if it hits something in flight its Game Over (tm).
The unfortunate passengers would be spread like very fine jam over a large area.

The problem is the fuel consumption, which is ridiculously high thanks to the low compression ratio Link2
I can't see a trans - Atlantic crossing anytime soon, not without several refuels, all conducted at 500+ MPH so the engine can still operate.
A great technology, but not suitable for commercial aircraft.
Maybe useful in explosives or projectiles, coilgun fires shell at high speed, jet kicks in soon afterwards?

This could work very well indeed with broadcast power (aka wireless energy) to allow the craft to split water into H2 and O and then burn it.
In this case the energy would be focussed onto the WaveRider from ground stations or seaborne stations powered by nuclear fusion (!)

Well it's actually just a pile of junk now spread out over the Pacific.
