I want to design a flyback transformer driven by half bridge circuit. it will run in flyback mode. what program would be suitable for this?

A half bridge implies a push-pull drive of the primary. To operate a transformer in flyback mode you just pull it (to ground) then you let it free wheel or flyback. A push-pull drive will apply a square wave to the primary, in flyback you apply pulses.

LTspice is a good free electronics simulator intended specifically for power electronics:
As with all simulators the accuracy is dependent on knowing what you're doing with the circuit and having accurate models. Modeling precise behavior when there is an arc in the system will take some work, but you can get the idealized behavior with a simple resistive or even RLC load pretty easily.
