Absolutely. I tried it already. But back then i only had a transformer on the G2 -> not very loud. Maybe i will try it one more time with a proper modulator.

Nice, how do you deal with interference? I wanted to build a similar plasma speaker, but seeing the extreme interference it produces I didn't dare to try it. I also experimented with tube transmitters (which are a similar thing) but the interference messed up my power amp and there was a really huge 50Hz ripple on the output.

I meant the HF interference capacitively coupled through the audio transformer (or directly if grounds are interconnected), I think it could mess up the connected equipment or even damage it... Proper grounding of xx MHz is not possible in a simple way...

Okay. I grounded the cage and the core of the transformer on the radiator. Works quite well but there are still some interferences if i touch the cables that go to the amp... But the amp survives ^^
