I've researched the archives and the net, but still a bit fuzzy on the answer, so I'm asking this forum. Which spark gap approach offers the lowest leakage at voltages around 1kV? Sidac, TSPD (Thyroid Surge Protection Device), gas filled spark arrestor, TVS, or regular ole open air spark gap? (or other?)

Relative to your Thyroid Surge Protection Device (TSPD), Pancreatic Pulse Suppressors (PPSs) and Pituitary Spike Diverters (PSDs) will often provide lower "leakage" ....
