(mods my period button is broken, so if you find the need to delete any extra periods I forgot to delete, delete them)

As Avi suggested, I asked for an Arduino for my birthday, which was on the 28th. It's an Arduino Uno.

As for my b'day I forgot to mention in the vid that I got 100 bucks. :D My dad's going to transfer it to a paypal. Tomorrow I'll start on the Arduino, as it's 12 at night for me and I can't exactly do that now. I'm also a bit worried my period button will start malfunctioning again and put out a string of periods in the code... lol

But anyways. I can finally get my head into some serious electronics.

Arduinos are fun - enjoy it.

One thing worth remembering is that once you have a prototype and have written the code, you can buy the bare AVR chips for a few bucks each and use them in exactly the same way. A lot cheaper than putting a full arduino into a project. :)

I only use the Arduino for 6-channel metering of temperatures (living, outside, kettle, terrarium...)
