Okay, so I ordered some wire, its 44 AWG (.0635mm)...I didn't realize at the time just how small that is. Even though it is so small it should still work for a small (22 x 80mm) secondary coil right? It's going to be used in a desktop SSTC so power will be rather low.

#44 AWG (conductor diameter LESS than TWO THOUSANDTHS of an inch) is going to be a REAL challenge to wind, even on a tiny 22mm dia coilform. You won't be able to wind this "free-hand"; you're going to need to build some sort of motorized winding fixture to support the coilform, with a foot-switch to start/stop the motor. It will take both hands to tension and align the wire as its wound on the form, and a few milliseconds of inattention will result in a broken wire. I think you'll find that it's extremely difficult to avoid overlaps with this near-microscopic wire gage.
If this is your first secondary, I'd suggest that you start with a wire gage that's still very small, but borderline managable, like #32 AWG. Increase your coilform dimensions to maintain your target frequency with the larger wire.

I have wound coils with 0.08mm wire on a simple hand-turned winder, when you maintain a right angle of the wire relative to the coil it does not overlap, but anyway I wouldn't wind anything below this diameter. As others said, if this is your first coil, I would go for ~0.1mm wire.
@Herr Zapp: I have wound several secondaries actually, I have previously wound a 22mm form with 38 gauge wire (i posted a picture in an earlier thread actually), that was slightly tricky...I do admit I will need a jig, which is my plan for tonight.
It should work though right since it's so small, and wont be pushing all that much power.
