Hello everyone. I'm building a teslacoil following this guide: Every component is almost there, but i still have to take the heatsinks. Of course i'm going to install some fans, but, i just don't know which heatsinks i should buy, how big etc. Could someone link to ebay, which one should i take?
p.s. i'd prefer having 1 for each mosfet, in fact in that way i don't have to worry about isulating. Thanks.

I would advise you to find some heat sinks from old electronics, in audio amplifiers or old CPU heat sinks. Those I used in your link are about 60x60x60 mm and was good enough for all you can see I have done with it.

I expected them bigger than 60x60. Should i also insert a fan in it? Now that i know the guide maker is you, i wan't to make a few more questions about it, since it's my first TC, please be patient with me. How long is the tube you used for the primary? I just can't get how to make the head of the tc.
But the most important thing is.. how can i ground the secondary goodly? My home electric plant, has no ground wire. Thanks.

You ground it with a cold water pipe. CPU heatsinks will do fine, I advise a fan. The primary tube can be any length as long as you couple the windings nicely. You have to experiment with coupling.

I did not have a fan for my heat sinks, I do not remember them being warmer than I could still touch them for long.
I did not use a separate tube for the primary, but about 6 layers of overhead film or some other "thick" plastic films, I would advice you, if you use the same method, to have it go some centimetres above and under the primary coil. I experienced flash overs because of the very tight coupling and some more insulation would maybe have saved me from that.
By the head of the Tesla coil, I assume you mean the topload. This is made from dryer aluminium ducting, the flexible kind you can get in any market with goods for building houses etc. I later upgraded it to two frying pans from Ikea, removed the handles, made a centre hole in each and put them against each other to form a topload.

Thanks a lot for the nice help,. For connections between mosfets, i will use enammeled wire, but i was wondering, what about the wires that goes from he socket, to the tc? i Thanks again
