would this work as an sstc

hello people

i have been wondering if its possible to run a sstc using a gdt, half bridge, picaxe 18m2, and a bit of code. i have never used a pic IC before as i only got it the other day and i have never made an sstc and am unfamiliar on how they run so the schematic i have made may do nothing, but im not sure and hopefully someone out there is good with the pic and good with sstc's to tell me if this will work
