Hey, for my ih, I decided to use a programmable gate ic rather than an array of regular logic ic's. The plan is to use it for the pll, pulse skipping, shutdown, etc. I have heard good things about the xc9536 an would like to implement that. I also will be using ISE as the IDE. My question is: what do I need in order to program it. I know I need a jtag programmer, but I doubt that ISE supports plugging a bus pirate into it and using it as the programmer. If anyone has some experience with this type of cpld and ISE, what jtag devices does it support?
