Hi, I am really hoping to find some coilers close to the LA area or an event that happens somewhere in this region of the country. I am newer to this area of electronics and am hoping to expand my knowledge and involvement. I Any suggestions?

I'm probably as close as it gets, but im not doing "events". My coil is kinda on the fritz as well.
What I am doing now is working on some high power amplifiers so I can do CW experiments on coils, look at live impedance, loading effects, VSWR, power transfer, and efficiency.
Trouble is getting the amps to work reliably without exploding before I can take a measurement.
I just recently got a decent directional coupler working, but I need to make another one which can handle proper power levels.
I also have to fix my Fluke 8920A so that I have two working meters to perform measurements. This is an ideal meter for measurements, but they're a bitch to get working again, a bitch to fix, and very $$$$$$$$$$.
