mortar and pestle cleaning

 		Most of us who have a mortar and pestle know how hard is is to clean them. Most of us scrub and wash forever trying to clean them, right? I found that if you give them a good washing than grind a cheap, hard stuff in then they clean well. I use NaCl or salt. Try it!

Ps: this works for my Porcelain one, it may not work for yours.

 		I might give that a try.

I usually just give it a shot of sulphuric and let it sit for a while.

 		I dont see the porblem with that. Sure you dont mean "if the last thing you ground was potassium chlorate and now you want some powdered phosphous."?

 		Theirs a lot of things that shouldn’t be mixed, let’s not discuss them here. Another thing If you don’t clean your mortar and pestle the purity of what you are grinding is affected.
