Hey, I have access to some surplus stage lights that have 23KM-K240-11v steppers in them. I can get a dozen or so, and hope to make 25-50 off of each one. Digikey sells the series in the 60-80$ range, and they are really heavy duty things. They are 24v uni-polar steppers with ~6mH inductance, ~2ohm, 470g and 5.8mm shaft. 1.5-2A rated. Just to see if anyone wants them before I go ahead and take them.

maybe, but the things are incomplete, and donated to my schools robotics club because an company that was building them went out of buisness. so there are no bulbs or any good electronics. we need to get rid of them to free up space. plus they are heavy and big to the point where shipping would be extremely expensive.
if anyone wants a "unit" as is, speak up withing the next few days, and be prepared for a big shipping price. and also, there are a few other interesting things inside. there are some 5 and 30v flyback smps's inside, as well as the xenon(or whatever gas is used in the bulb) ignitors.

Right now I have 5 of them, tomorrow i will have 11-15 of them. My main goal is to get 150$ total, so I will sell them at 25$ each plus shipping. I will give or take a bit on the actual price, but I think this is a really good deal considering you would have to pay 60$ for the exact motor on digikey.
also note that drive belts and "sprockets" are available on 3/5 of them. also, there are plates in order to mount them: not at all necessary if you mount them to metal, but they came out of a product that mounted them to some sort of reinforced plastic.
EDIT: they are up on ebay(3 for now) here and here

How many? They are .47kg and I can fit a few per box. It's 12$ flat rate to anywhere in the us. I would estimate about 25$ if it was under a few lbs. I still have all of them, the eBay listings just ended.

Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you see it, I am away from home right now, so I can't get a price, but I will do that as soon as I get home in a little over a week. I will give you a price of 80 for 4 or 70 for 3 'cause you're buying a few, and if that doesn't work let me know. I also have a few that have brackets on them.

Alright, I just want to get rid of them and fund my project, so at this point I'll say that I will sell 10 for 100 USD free shipping inside the us. I have 15 or so. International shipping charge will vary by weight and I will be more lenient towards a bigger quantity(cheaper shipping). It's 10 for 1 motor or best price(reasonable of course).
