Liquid fluoride core thorium vortex reactor?

Hi all.
has anyone else heard of this approach?
It seems that one possible way to get reasonable energy densities from a thorium reactor is to dispense with the solid core entirely and use thorium 232 as hexafluoride.
This is then spun up to high speeds in a spherical beryllium cased reactor containing a counter-rotating inner beryllium core with the heat exchangers and coolant, which resembles the "Earth Core simulator" and then bombarded from one or both ends with neutrons from a linac.

The main advantage of this approach is that because the fluoride salt is spinning it can be evenly distributed and cooled via directed liquid lead/bismuth.
As the heavy thorium salts would end up in a thin layer the energy density could be very high indeed but retaining the ability to shut down the reactor by cutting off the linac's drive.

Sound feasible?

"Spherical beryllium casing" immediately brings to mind the movie "Galaxy Quest". One of my favorites.
