hey. long time since i posted in this category. is there any software out there that can put a name to an audio signal? i am fed up with trying to figure out what songs are called in youtube videos that don't label them. and most people don't reply when you ask them. google hasn't turned anything up. thanks.

If you have an android phone you can use "Soundhound". I'm pretty sure it's available for Iphones as well, although I don't recall hearing about a PC version, but research, as all this is from the top of my head.

yep, i found it for my ipod. it will work for youtube with a bit of extra work(doesnt directly listen to files or youtube)
