Sorry but I just had to share this.
The light-bulb blew for the first time in a newly redecorated room today and upon removing it this is what I found in the socket:
The neutral wire is pushed all the way through and is not making very good electrical contact (it is just resting on the conductor that it should be securely screwed to!).
LOL, electrical fail! :P In india, there are completely ungrounded outlets, and we had to install a ground or the computer would keep shocking you each time you touched it (mind you, it was a crt). Thing is if it didn't rain in 2 days, it would still shock you as bad as before. There was also a ground wire with an exposed wire (poorly stripped). It felt quite pleasant to touch, barely a tingle :P
