So i got myself a nice Celem CPRI300 (1µF 650A 300kVAR) which was little bit damaged:
Step 1: Removing all loose plastic bits, opening couple cracks and roughing shiny surfaces for better adhesion
Step 2: Filler i used here is "Chemical metal". Its 2-component really strong and oil/water resistant stuff. It has nothing to do with metals so its not conductive:
Step 3: Several rounds of building missing chunks of plastic and sanding
Step 4: Milling machine was easiest way of cutting the shoulder part back to original dimensions
Sanding done:
Step 5: As usual, this celem cap had horrible surface finish o both terminals. Little fly cutting should help.
Step 6: Finished repair after quick coat of black automotive paint. Looks like new.
Will it work? I dont know. Measures good, survived high voltage test (950VDC) fine.
I think we need to find out with real induction heater application...

Good job!
Looks better than new and I will certainly look into persuading my father to get a fly cutter for his mill, its a rather small mill so is it even possible?
