Assuming a 1ft diameter turbine, you will only get a few watts from the wind so a dc motor of the size in your picture is about right The transformer must go .. dc output from motor, what you are measuring is the ripple only. Given the 1 cu.ft. limitation you may be better off with a vertical wind turbine (google Savonius) e.g.
narrow-blade high-speed fan/turbine blades have difficulty starting due to friction etc. I haven't tried but a good start may be something like this
Are there any stores where I cc buy a bike dynamo?
And this is the complete circut from an inverter from hft. It turns 12v DC into 120 ac, is there any way I can remove the 12 v DC minimum so I can use my motor?
Finally some good news for you!! After reading about the dynamos I called a local bike store to see if they sold these and I was able to pick up a used one for 20$.
After bringing it home I attached the front of the motor to my drill and fed the output through my step up in the first thread and got 88 volts!
So for the blades/propellers I was thinking the Savonius that sulaiman suggested would best utilize my minimal amount of space. With halved aluminium ducting being used for the sides and balsa wood for the top mounted directly onto the motor.
The other reason I chose this option is due to the large amount of internal resistance that the motor produces.

You can use as many as you like but it does not make sense to us. Either you forgot to tell us something about your project or you don't have any idea about what you are doing.
