Try putting a diode from the emitter to the collector, similar to a MOSFET. If that fails, just use IRFP250/60's.

It has diodes like the original ZVS, but do you mean add more UF to both IGBT's

This IGBT has a diode from G > E.

Nope I mean add an extra diode from the emitter to the collector of the IGBT. Like the way a 'FET has a diode from source to drain:

I tried adding 460'n I got it working, but then it just completely died.

I'm going to rebuilt it agin, from scratch, check if every component is well, but they way I built it was terrible I'm trying to think of a better way.

Don't know exactly why, but this circuit seems not to work well with IGBTs, and one of the causes is that IGBT's speed isn't good for like 100kHz or more.
So I think that that's the main reason it's not working.

I would best recommend IRFP260N!

*facepalm* zener was mangled, using a separate supply for gates

My SSTC is around 170w now, never had a TC with this much current.

The Fres is 448Khz, I'm using a 0.1uF (100nf?) cap, as this is whats called for, and 2t primary.

But adding toploads doesn't do anything.

ZVS dead again, not MOSFETs? I've given up.

Try rebuilding the ZVS, so everything is clearly laid out.
If that fails, I think you might have to buy some new parts :(

Last time it was a zener, now it's probably a resistor.

I can't re-build it, my soldering iron needs a new tip :(

Have you checked all the resistors with a multimeter?
Check everything, IGBT's, zeners (again) other diodes, power supply and that any windings haven't shorted out.
I guess you'll just have to wait for a new tip though.

Just found an old soldering iron tip, not good, but usable, checked everything, diodes, IGBT's, resistors, all OK. No shorts, there seems to be nothing wrong, but is :(
