Ignoring several other issues, the physical limit likely occurs when a capacitor exceeds its relative safety venting pressure.
Perhaps some units may end up like a random vacuum variable capacitor.

well youve all been helpful, ill be sending rockets up (sub-orbital) in 3-4 years, past 200k feet ASL. (with sophisticated PCB's onboard)
