I've bought many semiconductors and other parts from supplies like these. The parts are good, the shipping is usually fast and the price is cheaper than you will find at Digikey or Mouser.

if your getting them suspiciously cheaper, and or look modified (like the mold rounds are missing) then youll want to excercise caution, once you find a good known seller, save that person as a supplier for later. The problem is many butchers charge the right amount and pocket the difference.

there are often 2mm or smaller round flats with a mirror like finish, when cowards grind the original part down, those go missing.

Hi Tom,

Well, the package in the picture looks legitimate. If you receive parts that look exactly the same I wouldn't worry!
I can imagine the part number being printed in a flat groove on the package makes counterfeiting quite a bit harder.

I myself am currently far more frustrated by lack of availability of good igbt's. Seems like all major resellers can hardly be bothered shipping to Croatia anymore due to ever more bizarre habits of Croatian customs. (Digikey now charges $120 shipping even if I buy just one igbt).

So, I'd be very glad to know if any of you has had experience with this following seller?

Their prices seem similar to arrow electronics, though this by no means guarantees they aren't fakes!

Cheers,

Marko
