Question about different materials for secondaries forms

I found a french manufacturer selling different materials pipes that could be nice for secondaries forms http://www.gutzwiller.fr/tubepvc.html
They have "Transparent PVC" and "PMMA Acrylic"
Here is what I found about PMMA Acrylic (sounds good) : • Hardness and very high stiffness • High mechanical strength • Surface polishable • Greater transparency • High resistance to thermal deformation • Good electrical properties and dielectric • High resistance to weathering • Low water absorption • Low chemical resistance
I didn't find much info about "Transparent PVC", except it's not really transparent but rather translucent
What do you think of these materials ?
