I don't know any way to discharge my capacitors without them exploding... is there any safe way?
Transformer is 7.5Kv at 30ma and the caps are 10Kv at 0.015 uF if it helps much.

-PS... it's a bit too late for resistors... capacitors are already charged, but when it is discharged, what size resistors should I use for bleed resistors if I have 2 parallel lines of twenty 500vac/.15uF caps (20 per string, 2 strings)?\

Discharging capacitors doesn't blow them up.......
If you do install a bleeder, just select some reasonable value that won't draw too much current or dissipate too much power while the HV is on, but will discharge your capacitors fast enough (how fast you want them to discharge is something that you select). I usually try to set RC to a few minutes or so.

15 nf capacitors do not store charge for a long time I think. maybe you could place a resistor on its terminal atleast 1k ohms would do.. This will surely discharge the capacitor, but for a longer time.. you could short the capacitor leads after it was drained by the resistors for a minute or two.
