A couple things:
I got 20 of these caps on eBay for my drsstc. I aim for 75nF at 6kv using 3 strings of 6. I am pretty sure these caps are good for drsstc usage, but if anyone can give their opinion it would help me. Couldn't find any good CDE caps on eBay
Secondly, for my heatsink, I have a few, but I think they may be a little too small... I will post a picture below. This is going to be run at 340vdc with a pulse current of around 250-350A. Once I find out the hard way how much these igbts can handle. They are rated for 220A Icm. I think the large sink in the back may be sufficient, but I am not sure.
heatsinks and igbts by the way, i will be putting my construction progress on flickr, in case anyone is interested in it.

The ICEL MWR capacitors are designed for low-current DC service. They have a polyester dielectric, which has a very high loss factor at high frequencies (e.g. they will quickly overheat when used in an RF circuit). They are metallized film construction, which is not suitable for high peak current. The exact model number you provided is not listed in the 2008 ICEL catalog, but the MWR series .15uF/1000V capacitor listed in this catalog has a peak current rating of only ~5A, compared to the peak current rating of 342A for a CDE 942C series .15uF, 1kV cap.
The peak current rating of these caps is very low. This, and the lossy polyester dielectric make them unsuitable for a TC tank circuit.
Your "3 strings" MMC could only handle ~15A, not the 350A you are looking for.

I guess I will just get some cde's from Dan over at easternvoltgagereasearch then. But in the meantime, I can use them just to pulse test the coil though? If I run them with just burst mode operation(single shot), they won't heat up much... Right? Or is there more than heat to wory about? Sorry, before today I haven't even heard about pulse ratings on tank caps.
