hi Gren hear is my version the rectifier board. the brown one is 50k and the yellow one is 100k. If you want to insulate them you could put them in PVC tubing with oil or perafin. one used thease fast recovery diodes and the 50kv is standard 1N4007. if you order over 1k 1N4007's they can be a little over 1 cent . I built this with 1N4007

I used 2 flybacks to drive it.

For an ignition coil which typically runs at up to 1 kHz 1N4007 are ok with a LOPT (crt flyback transformer) running at 10's kHz fast diodes are required.
