C = KD where D is diameter in centimeters and K is a constant which is dependent on the coils height and diameter ratio
Now i got my ratio to 6(457mm/ 76mm)
According to this site The value of K should then be 0.92
So i get C = 0.92*7.6 = 6.99
When i do the calculations on this site with the help of a program that calculates the capacitance of an helical coil i get the number 6.558 for the capacitance
Any ideas why they differ?
