I have been messing with my little PCB type ZVS for some time now, and I finally got tired of being limited to the traces on the board. I ended up making a part to part soldered ZVS driver with some new 600V 48A IGBTs (HG20N60B). I also got tired of my film capacitors getting so hot in parallel at 800V .60uF that they melt the solder on their own leads, and put all four in series for 1600V .25uF with another .1uF 2000V (.35uF) one in series. This greatly increased my output at a lower mirofard. I am using a homemade flyback, since all of my "good" flybacks blew after an arc or two if not instant. Its a messy coil, but the voltage output is not very high, so its fine. Certainly a HIGH current output though!
I have a 48V winding on my audio transformer in series with my rewound MOT at 30V. When the driver is running and drawing a small arc (since it reads zero with no arc) it reads 80V, and when I draw an arc, the RF interferes with it a lot and makes the numbers go all around the map. I should switch that to analog also. I also know though, that the voltage does not drop very much with my rewound MOT, keeping the current steady while toasting my audio trans.
The arcs are about as long as, and maybe thicker then two MOTs in series without capacitors on their outputs. This is what I used to measure the currents. The driver may be slightly lower than 2000W due to this, but it is for sure that it is over 1500W
I recently hooked up an analog amp meter, which I do not know how accurate it is, but I know it is within about 5 amps.
Here is a video on it:
I should have more videos to come on it. Let me know what you think.

I do not think I will put a trippler on it. I kind of like the low voltage high current in a way. I will just wind a different flyback later on for a higher voltage and lower current, so that way I can stretch the arcs out farther without them just floating away and breaking the arc.
