I've made a ne555 go to 1mhz, it's not very practical though. The mini zvs is a good idea platinum.

I've started to make a transformer with a flyback core, I have two total windings, taken from CFL transformers, I want to drive the flyback with a TIP142T.

I recently made a fairly small (1.5"x2"x~1"tall) zvs with two inductors so that I can power up any random ferrite transformer without a center tapped primary. Works great with ccfl transformers to generate several kv from a 9v battery. I'm sure a CW multiplier could be attached for some more impressive sparks.

where did you add the second inductor ?

Is there any single transistor circuit for this, I have a flyback core as my transformer atm, and I need something to drive it with, I have 2n3055 and a TIP142T, I would make the single transistor flyback driver but it very inefficient.

I added it like this Link2
same as you would for an induction heater I guess. I used two of those little barbell cored inductors because I'm not going to be putting a lot of power through it.

You can use ceramic caps for the multiplier. I'd get higher voltage than 1kv though. I'm not sure what sort of capacity they should have to make a good multiplier though.

here's a driver with the 2n3055 Link2
I just googled "single transistor flyback driver"

I do not like the 2N3055 driver I was planning to make a mini taser, not real stun gun or anything, and I wanted to drive a transformer with a single transistor, without using the 2N3055 driver. 2N3055 driver is only good for wasting transistors.

the schematic said 400v caps so i went 1kv. I want in the future to wind a pulse transformer anyone got any tips to doing that exactly ?
