Im willing to admit im paranoid, however people could really be out there watching....

Is anyone else worried about the google policy of not just the usual capturing of personal info, but now its consolidation all in one spot for there benefit... to be honest it knida worries me.

And i presume Anonymisers dont work when you have to log in...

Im not a pansy about it either, i might be willing to trade some personal info for a better surfing experience, but what happens when they go to far?

any differeing opinions, or differing analysis? perhaps i worry to much...

Also, the voices in my head are saying:
The computers are clearly conspiring against humanity!!! begin hoarding bullets, the rise of the machines approaches!

I must admit when I read about googles new privacy policy consolidation I though to my self "are they going too far?".

Not sure what their agenda is but it does make you wonder.

They probably do that, but I sometimes do wonder if they do it right. I've posted my age and gender correctly in many sites' age box. If Google really looks at the sites you go on, it would not say that I am a male, aged 18-24. Instead it should say that I am female, aged *whatever the age group that includes 14*. I still am kind of scared of "Big brother's watching you."

i always fill out all info correctly. name. age. location. But when it comes down to city, I always lie and place it in a different city around the area. Stuff like that is no bother to me. For said reasons is why I have a facebook with all info on it except address.

>> ...what happens when they go too far?

Google has a long way to go before matching Facebook,
which is based on the curious idea that people LIKE to share personal info with the world.

In either case, just bear in mind that the "user experience"
offered by Google and Facebook is designed to attract views.
That improves their product.
Their product is what they sell, to get revenue: the eyes and time of millions of users.
Their customers are advertisers.

Just like broadcast TV and radio stations. This isn't new.
