So I'm at work modifying the schematic for a PCB. I have two 22" TFTs in front of me with the schematic full screen on the left, and the layout full screen on the right, able to cross-probe between the two. I have component information on another dozen small windows sprinkled around , and I'm moving, resizing, moving, re-ordering them as my focus changes.
I realised that I was moving my head a lot between the two views, and then spotted that there was a space of an inch or two between the two screens. Obviously if I reduced that gap, I would save me some movement. Without breaking my stride, I moved the mouse pointer up to the top edge of the right hand screen, and click-dragged left firmly. The mouse didn't offer the expected resistance to movement, and the righthand display stayed resolutely where it was.

What about in real life when you are writing something on paper then when you make a mistake you go to reach for the Ctrl + Z key to undo the last change. I have also tried to reach out for the mouse when drawing things!
When this happens it means I need to go for a walk.
Also in the past I have stayed up all night playing call of duty zombies mode and when I went down stairs for a snack I had the urge to board up any windows in my house that I passed. I think that is called the tetris effect or something.
Today when writing the free response question on my midterm, I made a mistake and had reached for the Ctrl + Z. Also, I spend some 10 hours on a computer on a normal day, so when I get off the computer, things are spinning and rotating and I am dizzy as if I am high or something. High off the internet? Hee hee. And Alex I've done that too. I've also looked for my layers panel when physically drawing something. I'm spending *way* too much time Photoshopping.
