My gu-39 arrived ok. Now I have to figure out how to power the blame thing! I think for the filament I am going to buy one of photons scrap transformers. but for the plate I was thinking along the lines of a pig... The problem is getting a pig. Is the anyone that has one they might sell me one? Here is one on ebay but Im rather skeptical... Link2

I would say rewind a MOT for the filament. For the plate, it depends on how much power you actually want to pull out of it.

Yeah I thought about the mot for the filament but... I have to cook the tube for 24 hours to degass it and alittle mot isn't going to do the job wink

As for the plate IF I'M CAREFUL this tube can take 12kw... That would take alot of mots neutral
