Hey all!
I was downstairs, and was picking through the stuff I won't need... :D
Some assorted fans, smaller ones are $2 each, larger, $4 each
Tiny 5 volt SMPS, just supply 120 vAC to it and bam instant 5 volt supply. (I do not know the max current, however)
I need to add a 100 ohm resistor onto it before I sell it. Remind me if you decide to buy it!
$5 for it
little bigger SMPS... Supplies 18 volts at 1 amp, if memory serves me correct.
$6 for it
Even bigger 5 volt supply. Can give out +5 volts at 3.5 amps, or -5 volts at 2.5 amps. I can give you the pinout if you wish to buy it.
$10 for it.
a 30 pF mechanical tuning cap... It would make a nice radio transmitter/receiver!
$1 for it.
1 GB memory sticks DDR2, I got two of them, 667 mhz. They work, and would make a pretty nice upgrade for your older laptops!
Asking $4 each, or $7 if you buy them together.
A Stanley Recon Mica cap. .25 uF, rated at 1000 volts peak. Great for a variety of things.
$5 for it!
Small electrolytic caps; rated at 150 vDC, 560 uF.
Asking $1.5 for each of them
Bigger electrolytics; Rated at 350 uF (though, I measured them with a C meter, and they're actually above that still!) Can handle 450 vDC, great for filtering and coilguns too!
Asking $3 each.
These electrolytics are the same size as the previous ones physically. However, they are rated at 550 uF, and can handle 250 vDC. Also great for filtering! Also $3 each.
*NEW*
Maxwell Ultracapacitor. 2600 Farads, at 2.5 volts, this thing is a beast. It can melt steel, weld, and a whole bunch of other things too.
I'm asking $28 for it, and shipping is probably going to be a good 8 - 10 dollars for US buyers. For Canadian buyers it's probably going to be around $12-14.
*NEW*
A beefy two diode brick. Can handle 800 volts at 160 amps. Datasheet ->
Asking $15 for it.
PM me if you'd like to make offers, or trades for any of the above items. I'll be pretty flexible with pricing, so please, ask!

Just a friendly heads up, both the arrow above the text about the PFC board and the text about the 30pF tuning cap link to a picture of the cap...might want to fix that. Also, I might be misunderstanding you but are saying that the PFC board might be suitable for a DRSSTC power supply? If so I might be interested in it

Thank you for pointing that out for me.
And yes, the PFC board SHOULD be pretty good for a DRSSTC power supply; However, it can only supply around 400-500 watts with the current state it is in. If you changed the heatsink, it could probably handle a bit more power, but I don't know for certain. It's well built, that's for sure, as it was taken from a server PSU.
