Hi ,

My First Real Post here i finnaly made a tesla coil , First one i have made is a Pl504 based Coil , Secondray is so many turns of 0.1mm Wire , theres about 5 inches worth of windings .

There is a topload i guess you could call it that , its a small screw and it seems to make the arc abit bigger/more corse . The Tank Cap is 1nF , made from 4 ceramic Capacitors that are kinda naff . I have a 811a Tube on the way to make a bigger one soon , was just so happy my first coil works with fairly good output :) .

Here is a video , Link2

Hi,
that is pretty good output, what circuit are you using?
Here's mine: Link2 (wait for the switch to high power mode).

I think the coil ran at around 700 kHz and the secondary calculated resonance was around 1 MHz.

I think it was 18/17, though I would have used less for the feedback now.
